Joy versus Happiness

Hello Anointed Wordites and Friends. Today during #ThoughtsWithLadyA I'd like to share with you a common perspective and shed some current revelation and truth.

WE often quote: "This joy that I have the world didn't give it and the world can't take it away" but the truth is often we mistake happiness for joy.

Joy comes from knowing and trusting God, happiness comes as a result of pleasant circumstances. Inward joy is steady as long as we trust God, but happiness is unpredictable.

Inward joy defeats discouragement, but "happiness" covers it up.

Joy is forever lasting, but happiness is temporary.

Let our Joy be stronger than our happiness.
