Pastor Curtis Artis
Curtis L. Artis, affectionately known as "Pastor C.L." or "Pastor Artis", is the founder of Anointed Word Ministries. After getting saved 30+ years ago Pastor C.L. made a commitment to serve God with his whole heart. He believes in walking in the supernatural and teaches others how to do so.
Pastor Barbara Artis
Barbara Dawson-Artis, affectionately known as "Lady A", is the wife of Curtis L. Artis, Pastor and Founder of Anointed Word Ministries. Lady A is the founder of Women Walking in Wisdom, AWM's women's fellowship ministry passionately encouraging women to fulfill the purpose of God in their lives.
OUR MINISTERS
AWM ministers assist in ministry by teaching and preaching the gospel under the training and leadership of Pastor C.L. Artis to edify and uplift .
KEY LEADERS
AWM Key Leaders conduct studies of both church and community needs to properly execute projects, activities, special events, and outreach.
OUR DEACONS
Our deacons assist by performing assignments requested by Pastor C.L. They also evaluate and prioritize progression and use of resources.
FINANCE TEAM
Our Finance Team ensures finances are used properly and recorded accurately by providing post receipts and disbursements of corporate account. They also post offerings weekly to individual accounts and files.
OUR TRUSTEES
AWM Trustees assist Pastor C.L. and deacons with the upkeep of the ministry. They are responsible for collecting church offerings, assisting, and adjusting both monthly and annual reports with the finance team.
OUR USHERS
Ushers are responsible for assisting congregation with essential needs.
OUR GREETERS
Our greeters are dedicated to welcome all guests with a warm smile, greeting, and any directions needed to assist in navigating the ministry.
SAFETY TEAM
Our safety committee oversees all safety aspects concerning ministry. A team member is present at all services. Team members ensure maximum safety and security by patrolling church grounds before, during, and after all services and will report any inappropriate or questionable behavior .
PRAISE TEAM
AWM Praise Team and Mass Choir help usher in the anointing of God and assist in setting the atmosphere through the gift of song.
DANCE MINISTRY
Our dance ministry offers unique praise through God led choreography.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
AWM believes in imparting faith through youth mentorship by way of prayer events, activities, and mission trips to help our youth develop leadership skills. Our children's ministry is taught by an appointed instructor every Sunday and as a result create presentations to show.
MEDIA MINISTRY
AWM's media ministry team oversees all church media outlets, creates promotional marketing materials. They communicate with church leaders to ensure all pertinent information, special events, and more are made known to the correct and appropriate audiences and departments.
OUR MUSICIANS
Our musicians work collaboratively with both the Praise Team and Mass Choir to usher in the anointing by ministry of music and song.
JR MUSICIANS
Jr. Musicians have the same responsibilities as our musicians and are trained properly to effectively fill in and rotate musical responsibilities.
