The Importance of Knowing God.

Hello Anointed Wordites and Friends! Happy Wednesday! In today’s #ThoughtsFromLadyA blog let’s talk about the importance of knowing God.

Focusing our thoughts on God moves us to praise him.

The more we know Him, the more we can appreciate what he has done for us. When we feel powerless, God can help us.

His strength can overcome the despair of any pain and trial. We can always pray and He will deliver, protect and sustain us.

When we fall short, we can pray to Him directly and honestly and God forgives us. When we receive His forgiveness, we move from alienation to intimacy and from guilt to love.

When we realize how we benefit from knowing God we can fully express our thanks to Him. By thanking Him often, we develop spontaneity in our praise and prayer life.

People can be unfair and friends may desert us. But we can trust and depend on God, knowing He will drive away doubt, fear, loneliness and pain.

Get to know Him whole heartily. Its very important that we know Him in a real and personal way.
